Brownie Awards 2024Brownie Awards 2024

The Brownie Awards recognize the builders, innovators and visionaries who are dedicated to the rehabilitation of brownfield sites that were once contaminated, under-utilized and undeveloped into productive residential and commercial projects that contribute to the growth of healthy communities across Canada.

The 25th Anniversary of the Brownie Awards introduces a special anniversary accolade and updates other categories to align with the latest advancements and reflect a triple bottom line perspective on exceptional brownfield projects and industry professionals.

The call for nominations has been launched earlier than usual to allow applicants from all corners of the country ample time to participate. The Brownie Awards Jury is urging additional projects and leaders from eastern, western, northern Canada, and remote communities to join in the nomination process.

Focused on the rehabilitation and rejuvenation of once-contaminated, underutilized, and undeveloped sites, the Brownie Awards annually honor and celebrate brownfield initiatives in Canada. These revitalized residential, commercial, and park projects play a vital role in fostering the growth and resilience of healthy cities and communities.

Presented in collaboration by the Canadian Brownfields Network and Actual Media Inc., the Brownie Awards are thrilled to commemorate 25 years of acknowledging the remarkable efforts of projects and leaders dedicated to cleaning up and transforming diverse sites across the nation.
