The International Skating Union (ISU) has officially released the assignments for the 2024-2025 ISU Grand Prix of Figure Skating series, featuring stops in six countries. This prestigious circuit will showcase 25 Canadian athletes competing across various disciplines, including women, men, pairs, and ice dance. A highlight for Canadian fans will be the 2024 Skate Canada International, held at the Scotiabank Centre in Halifax, Nova Scotia, from October 25-27, 2024.

Grand Prix Circuit Overview

The Grand Prix series includes the following events:

  • Skate America: Allen, USA – October 18-20, 2024
  • Skate Canada International: Halifax, NS – October 25-27, 2024
  • Grand Prix de France: Angers, France – November 1-3, 2024
  • NHK Trophy: Tokyo, Japan – November 8-10, 2024
  • Finlandia Trophy: Helsinki, Finland – November 15-17, 2024
  • Cup of China: Chongqing, China – November 22-24, 2024

Skaters earn points based on their placements at each event. The top six competitors in each discipline will qualify for the ISU Grand Prix of Figure Skating Final, scheduled for December 5-8, 2024, in Grenoble, France.
